Ceylex Wind Power Madampe is a wind power project designed to have a capacity of 5MW. The plant is located in Iranawila, Madampe, and is expected to be commissioned in 2024.  

The farm features a specification of four Wind Turbines of capacity 2.5 MW (Siemens Gamesa G114) with a hub height of 93.3 m and a rotor diameter of 114 m and double fed asynchronous generators. Cutting edge centralized monitoring and command centres closely track output and make required adjustments with minimal human intervention thus ensuring uncompromised power generation efficiency.

When operating at peak efficiency, the project will make a saving of 15,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions per annum.
